It wasn’t so very long ago that parents were warned that trying to teach tiny babies a foreign language will delay their speech. But as a mom in a bilingual family, I found that hard to believe.

Who Am I?
Hello. Welcome to my blog. My name is Gillian. I'm 27 years old and I presently live outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I've been overweight for about 3/4ths of my life.
Being overweight has been a huge hindrance. I can't live the life that I want. I can't be the person that I want to be. To be quite honest I don't want to live that way. I want to live a life with no regrets.
Just one persons half silly half serious blog. Perhaps the greatest blog ever composed, perhaps not. Once in awhile you'll find a gem and once in awhile you won't. It' s first and foremost a blog about existential horror, as the kids say.

My blog is intended to be a positive account of our journey towards adoption. We have 2 children and have 3 years of infertility.
