I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual Arts at Brock University, a campus located right in the heart of Canada’s Niagara region. In my research and teaching I explore various aspects of the relationships that exist between art, science, place and people, both in our contemporary culture and in times past. Some of the things I write about include: gardens, parks, toxic waste, porcelain dinner plates, bears and postcards.
