Hello! I am a busy mom of three wonderful children (6, 4, and 1). I
love trying new things, being exposed to different experiences, and
love adventures with or without my kids. I am a teacher by degree, but
a goal in my life is to write a children's book. I am hoping by

I'm Sara, a stay-at-home mom of two and military wife. We live on a budget, but I love to shop! How can I make this work? By bargain shopping and hunting for deals! I started this blog to share them with you.
I know there are a lot of "frugal living" blogs out there, but I like to compile deals from the ones I visit that may be interesting for moms like me!
Welcome to my blog! I chose Proverbs 30:25 as my theme verse because it is a quick reminder to me keep pushing, while I try to balance being a wife, mom, friend, neighbor, church member, freelance writer, gardener, cook, housekeeper, counselor… so many things. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and feel very small with so much on my plate. Even though the ants are but little creatures, they accomplish great things because of their preparation. I have observed that ants are quite flexible and have endurance - if they have a huge object placed in their path, they don’t stop working! They either climb over it or go around. Proverbs 6:6-8 also talks about the ant, “Go to the ant, O sluggard, Observe her ways and be wise, Which, having no chief, Officer or ruler, Prepares her food in the summer, And gathers her provision in the harvest.†Ants make for an interesting unit study!
My name is Sarah Balding, and I’m a 24 year old woman with a master’s degree and married to an amazing guy named Ryan Balding. I am East coast girl, and I love to write (obviously), but I also enjoy reading, photography, and hanging out with the people I love most. I’m a bit OCD (I think), very klutzy, and cannot dance to save my life. I love trying new things and traveling new places....more
I'm a sarcastic mom ready to share my views on the simultaneous joy and hell of being a new mommy, a wife, and living my life in general. Anything's game. Getting offended is a possibility. Laughing is required.
