Welcome to my world on wheels! Here’s what makes me roll: the art scene, music, artisanal food, great fashion, global politics and my love for animals. Graphic design is my profession and I’ve branched out exponentially. Fun-loving with an infectious laugh, I love great conversations with amazing depth.I get around in a wheelchair due to unfortunate circumstances in the 90′s. Nothing stops me from living life to its fullest....more
I do etegami-style artwork, using watercolor and sumi ink. Etegami literally means "picture letters," and they are handpainted on a thick, porous washi postcard with gansai, a Japanese watercolor, and sumi ink. Etegami must always include a phrase, quote, or word, and both the words and the image often have a seasonal meaning. As a "signature," etegami artists use a simple stamp (hanko)....more

This isn’t a mommy blog and I hate the word diva and all that it implies, so this isn’t another pampered American woman story overrun with Gucci bags and overpriced heels. It’s a kind-of, sort-of, a travel blog — but not really. And it is definitely not political because I became so disgusted with the politics of the United States that I packed my bags and moved to the Middle East. So this blog is what it is. It is about my experiences and observations as an American woman living in the United Arab Emirates....more

This is a humor blog about my life, which means that you'll read a lot about my husband, our attempts at home improvement, our troublesome pugs, yard sale triumphs and heartbreak, and, in general, me, a consummate late bloomer who is trying to be a grown up. Sometimes I even succeed......more
A blog primarily centered around the interaction of two characters: The Webmaster, and Fluffy McGiggles: the website's personality herself.
The Webmaster is trying to provide fluff & fun for all readers. Fluffy (the website) is trying to make sure the Webmaster doesn't do too much harm to the website by inundating it with too little actual content....more
