So my weight has pretty much been the same my whole life (yes i know im still very young), and although im very active and athletic i eat what i want when ever i want how ever much i want! Well the other day my mom and i were hanging out and when i walk past her she said "your butt looks bigger." Not possible! I look in the mirror and thought, she's dilousional, its the same shape its always been. Cut to monday morning, me pickout my cute gray/blue striped summer business capris to wear to work and low and behold i could not fit them over my fat butt! what on earth! I keep all my clothes for years and years and I've never not been able to zip my pants! (i know 9 outta 10 women who read this are probably thinking, what kind of sick eating disorder do you have to have to stay the same size your whole life! and dont give me any of that "high motabolism" stuff!)

Point of the story: i've decided to live a healthier life! and in the process found some really fun new activities and tv shows! (i knew that watching all that oprah and lifetime would pay off some day!)

So now id like to spread the fun!

Fun Stuff

1. Pilates- 10-20min in the morning. there are many ways to pilate. my favorites are dvds because you can do them whenever and wherever and i love denise austine's Hit the Spot pilates because its short sweet and theres a lot of variety! I also love incorporating yoga and some strength training like pushups and squats into my routine to add a little muscle confusion

2. Cook Yourself Thin- um although im a diehard food network fan, i am loving this new lifetime show because it cuts like billlions of calories from every amazingly juicy, nutty, buttery, salty, sweet, fatty goodness food there is, but without loosing ANY flavor! for real, i cook, ive tried some of the recepies.. NO LOSS OF FLAVOR. cuz ofcourse for a foodie like me or anyone, flavor is the reason people overeat most of the time.

3. Cardio- after work, now me and cardio have a love/hate relationship. if i could do anything in the world all day i would teach and take dance, and that would be plenty of cardio. but alas, i do not always have the time/money to dance like i want to.. soooo i supposed to do other stuff like run.. YUK. ya kno im sure is the "lazy american" in me but if i have to run id much rather do it on a tredmill with a tv in front of me, and ipod in my ears and a bag of chips- i mean baby carrotts in my hands. so anywayyy, last night i did BILLY BLANK'S 8 MINUTE CARDIO. yes thats right 8 MINUTES. it was actually fun, fullfilling and I felt more energetic after. plus 8 minutes?!?! i waste more than 8 minutes just deciding whether or not im going to get up when my alarm goes off in the morning

so thas all for now.. i feel that a real life experience of a product is usually more insightful than any one person can describe so i hope that by sharing the stuff in my life that makes me smile that it will affect others in a positive way!

have a great day!
