This month's introductions to new-to-our-blogroll BlogHers has the excitement of foreign flare as many of these fine women live outside the US!
fehr Trade belongs to Melissa Fehr, an IT specialist by day and an enthusiastic sewer/designer the rest of her life. She writes wonder entries about recycling fabric (currently sewing a jacket and pants from Pendleton wool her grandmother purchased in the 1960's!), designing her own fashions, analysis of patterns and books. I am considering stealing one of her ideas: The Most Worn Awards. If you examined your wardrobe, which items would you proudly nominate as "most worn" and why?

Allison of Nimoy! Creations has been joining many of us by not randomly buying more craft supplies. However:
But today - I couldn’t resist. My latest passion is felt. & I just couldn’t find that many colors. What seemed like an eternal search (read: about a week) for the rainbow of possibilities in felt, ended today with a grand trip to Michael’s.
And judging by the adorable Yeti pins she crafted with these, the break of her embargo was just the creative nudge she needed.!

Kylee writes about living in rural Ohio at Our Little Acre...and Oh! the photos she shares!!
These are the adventures of a rural Ohio gardener (me) and a camera that seems to be stuck in macro mode much of the time.
I want to bury my nose in these photos..

The Chicks with Sticks are sisters, cdnbull and Ann-Marie, who blog about their knitting and lives. There is content here on knitting, felting, dyeing, crochet. They even has an Etsy shop for her hand-dyed wools.

Welcome to my World, JanMary by Northern Ireland digital scrapbooker JanMary. She ended 2007 with this review:
So this time last year, I stumbled across digital scrapbooking while trying to create a photo calendar as a gift for the grandparents. Little did I know what a Pandora's box I was about to open.....
One year on, I now have a blog, some great on-line friends, lots of memories preserved in layouts, a laptop, external hard drive.......and even a small part-time business creating digital layouts for others!
I had never used photoshop Elements. I had never read a blog or downloaded a freebie. I did not know what a CT was in April, but by May I was on TWO!

Once again wonderful photographs of gardens (what IT is about gardeners and macro lenses??) and interesting craft content exist in Kate Smudges in Earth, Paint and Life. She summed up that late winter yearning by many Northern gardeners so well:
With the bitterly-cold weather this past while, I am longing for spring with an intensity that I'm hard-pressed to define. Maybe this time of year brings a form of amnesia and I experience these feelings every February. A visceral longing overtakes me and I so want to step into my garden clogs, open the screen door and once again, feel the earth beneath my feet.

Finally, Four Good Corners joins four friends in London and Los Angeles together. Vanessa (Yorkshire native now living in LA), Joelle (in London), Kerry (in Brighton) and Kristie (London). Kerry has a jewelry business and is a great long-distance friend, Joelle loves screenprinting and describes herself as the blogs "resident wannabe eco warrior. Kristie knits and is learning to crochet. Vanessa embroiders her way around LA and enjoys good design.
