New to BlogHer

I've never done this blogging thing at BlogHer before. I've always done it through third-party hosting sites such as Blogger or ye olde faithful livejournal.com.

as someone who has been blogging in one form or another since 2001, i feel strangely ill-equiped to be writing this post. I don't know where it's going to go when I hit submit, i doubt that anyone will ever read it and I'm confused as to what I shoudl be writing about. Not "normal" feelings for a seasoned veteran blogger like me.

it's good to feel humbled and anxious sometimes; it's how we grow.

I'll tell you this, though: if it wasn't for blogging in my life, i definitely wouldn't be the person who I am today. Blogging has been THE Thing that has kept me grounded and made me feel like my voice and my point of view has had validity. And for that, I am so grateful.

uh oh, tangent to realize that this rich-text box does NOT have spell-check auto-enabled. ahh! that is a dangerous, dangerous thing for me.

okay so now it's time to take a leap of faith and hit save or submit or "go" or whatever and see what happens next. I am really looking forward to figuring this all out and becoming a part of the BlogHer community.

{for always}
