New Girl in Town

Hi, I just wanted to say hello to all you out there. I'm still in the process of figuring out the many uses of the site ;] My name is Allison, I'm originally from California but am in the process of immigrating to Canada (*crosses fingers that her mailperson will bring something fabulous in that department today*) It's snowing QUITE hard outside right now, so hopefully the mail will still go through...

I guess my area of focus (especially online) is more of the DIY variety: crafting, art, baking & pop culture. I recently graduated with a H.B.A. in Gender Studies & English & am interested in perhaps applying for grad school in art therapy sometime in the next few years.
