A New Kind of Normal: Living Abundantly with Chronic Illness

Added November 4, 2009 - 1:34pm by | in

My name is Jamee and I'm 28 years old. Once at a conference I heard a woman share her story and she made a very profound statement. Sometimes things are out of our control and life may never return to what we consider "normal." Often we must seek a "new kind of normal." After being diagnosed with endometriosis and fibromyalgia and facing infertility, I have had to seek out a new kind of normal for my life. Hence the title of my blog. So this blog will cover my life journey with chronic illness and facing daily life trying to find balance, a new sense of self, and enjoying all of the blessings of life. God promises to give life, life more abundant, and I will spend my days being joyful & giving Him all the praise!
