That's a great name for a blog

(and the domain name doesn't seem to be taken, you might consider grabbing it - just in case... I mean if you think you might someday want a domain name...)

The Pixie Mist clothes you've featured in that post are adorable.  I've gotta see what, if anything, they have for slightly older kids.

$10-20 per year for the name

Depends on which service you buy from and whether you choose a hosting service to go along with it.  You could leave your blog where it is and simply "point" the domain name to it.  Many people do that, or at least start that way.
