We're dropping off kids with Grandma and going out to dinner. Boring, I know! But's it's still 1:1 time together and even if we talk about the kids the whole dinner, it's what brings us joy and strengthens our bond. It could be worse, right? We don't do Valentine's Day between adults in the family. We'll be showering the boys with love and doing some celebrating with them.

I am making over our bedroom as a surprise for my husband. We have a 10 1/2 month old and I feel like it is time to reclaim our bedroom and fan the flames of our romantic spark. He has always wanted red in our bedroom and I've always favored softer colors, but now I'm gibing it a try. Reds and blacks and whites and greys. A ribbon wall. side tables made of books. A reading and writing corner. Paintings of us that I created to hang over our bed.Table lanterns with flickering LED tea lights inside.

Hopefully he'll love it!
