We actually do a LOT of egg and cheese sandwiches around our place as well. It is my Monday (and sometimes Friday) morning convince-the-kids-to-get-out-of-bed breakfast. In fact, it is also the first thing my kidlets learned how to cook! LOVE IT!
Totino's frozen pizza. It's the only thing that all of my kids will eat so we have it at least once a week. Stress-free night for mom.
Our go-to meal is pasta with butter and Parmesan and a side of broccoli. It seems like we always have those items on hand and it's something that picky mouths will eat.
Mostly dishes.
Actually I made Remi's Ratatouille last night with cous cous. My kids actually ate it and my husband had seconds.
We make lots of toast! You can't go wrong with buttery toast and honey, or cinnamon sugar, or jam - washed down with a cold glass of milk. We have toast for breakfast, after school, or before bed. it's the best! Mmmm, mmmm.
"something in a softie (tortilla)"- its so versitle you can put a hotdog, cheese, pb&j, fruit, creme cheese, veggies, leftover chicken, roast, pork,,,any leftover just about. It's my go do basic when someoone says "i'm hungry". I start naming off things they could put in a softie!
Fruit Smoothies in a blender--a banana, some yogurt, some frozen fruit--strawberries, peaches, mixed berries, or whatever we have on hand--and some milk or orange juice .
The perfect pick me up when you are craving something sweet. :)
A mess.
What? It's the truth! I love to cook, but I make a HUGE mess.

Spanish Mac- though there's nothing Spanish about it. It's just elbow macaroni, ground beef and tomato sauce. Easy, cheap and all my kids will eat it.
'Breakfasty' food. My kids love hash browns, so I use Simply Potatoes and add to it. Then I scramble some eggs with a big of cheese, sometimes I add bacon. Then we pile everything up together, douse it with hot sauce (or not) and eat until we explode!
We are cheese-aholics here, so I spend a lot of time slicing, cubing, and shredding cheese for crackers, sandwiches, meals, and anything we can think to add cheese to.
Cereal. It's our end-all, be-all food. It's so wonderful!
By the way, you're hair is getting so long! Love it!
Mashed potatoes and rice. I am from the mid west where potatoes are a dinner staple, whether they are fried, baked, steamed or mashed. My Husband is Japanese so I always need to have a pot of rice also.
I make beans, carrot and potatoes soup, pasta with tuna and pesto sauce and a lot of pastries: chocolate & peanut butter cupcakes, chocolate cakes etc..
My fiance is in charge of the meat & chicken.
I really liked your photo :)
Breakfast smoothie: spinach, almond milk, frozen blueberries, protein powder and stevia vanilla sweetener. Yum! I have it almost every morning.
Kind of gross, but lately, I have wanted ham and Miracle Whip!

A couple things: Honestly, I make a lot of Ramen (probably because I'm a poor college student. Also, I actually like it). I also like to make spaghetti, BLT's (with turkey bacon), and I love love love, grilled cheese and tomato (roma tomatoes are the best). Also, chicken and potato vindaloo and fajitas with homemade guacamole (all you need is avocado, tomato, and salt. It's simple and tastes great!) are some favorite dinners of mine.
grilled cheese.. on french toast bread. It's like cheaters' monte cristos.
oatmeal. very versatile, you can put whatever on it. in college i remember putting peanut butter m&ms in it, no wonder people gain the freshman 15.. sometimes I still like a teaspoon of pb and maple syrup.
peanut butter & strawberry jam. I don't like grape jelly too much but love strawberry jam.
Grilled cheese sandwiches with pepper jack cheese and sliced tomatoes. We like to think we are quite clever with our sophisticated take on the old classic but we are not very sophisticated at all. We have, however, perfected the art of getting just the right amount of browning to the sandwiches.
