NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Eligibility:
Entrants in the Nights in Rodanthe Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of September 8, 2008 and legal U.S. residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico, all U.S. Territories and Possessions and all Overseas Military Installations). Employees, officers and directors of BlogHer, Inc. ( "Sponsor") or Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc., their respective partners, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, successors and assigns, and their immediate family members [spouses, parents, children, siblings] and individuals residing in their same household (whether legally related or not) are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, eligible entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Void where prohibited.

2. Sweepstakes Period:
Sweepstakes begins as of 12:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time ("PST") on September 8, 2008 and ends as of 11:59 p.m. PST on September 28, 2008.

3. Entry:
Online Entries:
To enter the Sweepstakes, eligible entrants should simply login or register at http://www.blogher.com/user/register, then visit the Sweepstakes web page at http://www.blogher.com/nights-rodanthe-sweepstakes, and leave a comment sharing your second chance story.

Online entries must be placed in the comments section of this page, or a URL link to your entry on your own blog must be posted to the comments section of this page, to qualify.
• Online entries must be written and posted no later than 11:59 pm PST on September 28, 2008 to be eligible.
• Online entries must comply with BlogHer Editorial Standards available at http://www.blogher.com.

Mail-In Entries:
To enter for a chance to win the Sweepstakes without leaving a comment, eligible entrants should send their name, address, phone number and e-mail to: BlogHer Attn: Nights in Rodanthe Sweepstakes Entry, 805 Veterans Blvd., Suite 305, Redwood City, CA 94063. Entries must be postmarked no later than September 28, 2008 and must be received no later than October 6, 2008.

Neither Sponsor nor Sponsor's agencies are responsible for any illegible, lost, stolen, late, damaged, incomplete, mutilated or misdirected entries.

The Initial Potential Winners and the Alternate Potential Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries.
• Initial Potential Winners will be notified by e-mail. Please check your BlogHer profile to ensure we have your current, correct e-mail address. If the Prize is not accepted within (10) business days by the Initial Potential Winner, the Alternate Potential Winner will be notified by e-mail and shall be awarded the Prize if accepted within ten (10) business days.
• Only one entry per household.
• Odds of winning depend on the total of number of eligible entries received.

4. Sweepstakes: The potential winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries. The entrant selected must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Mass entries or mechanical reproductions are invalid. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, postage-due, illegible, incomplete entries which will be disqualified.
5. Prizes: 1 GRAND PRIZE pack (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): One Hundred Twelve Dollars and Ninety-Seven Cents ($123.97) (USD)), and five (5) FIRST PRIZE packs (ARV: Sixty-Two Dollars and Ninety-Five Cents ($62.95) (USD) each) will be awarded to six (6) randomly selected entries on or around October 1, 2008. Total fo all Sweepstakes prizes combined is equal to: ARV of Four Hundred Thirty-Eight Dollars and Seventy-Two Cents ($438.72) (USD).

• 1 GRAND PRIZE winner, receives one of each of the following; Copy of "Nights in Rodanthe" autographed by best-selling author Nicholas Sparks ARV: Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) (USD), Sloan Beach/Book Tote with Embroidered Title Treatment - ARV: Twenty-Four Dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($24.99) (USD), Insulated Tote w/Wine & Cheese Service for Two (2) - ARV: Fifty-Nine Dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($59.99) (USD), Wine Charms on Nights in Rodanthe Art Card - ARV: Thirteen dollars and Ninety-Nine Cents ($13.99) (USD). Each potential winner will be notified via e-mail and will receive their respective prizes via U.S. mail to his/her US resident address within two (2) weeks following Sponsor's receipt of the Notarized Prize Notification and Release agreement executed by each Winner. Prize shipping costs will be paid for by Sponsor.

6. General Conditions. By participating, entrants agree neither Sponsor, Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc., nor their respective shareholders, agents and representatives, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, nor their respective legal advisors are responsible or liable for, and shall be released and held harmless from: (i) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (ii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor that may cause this Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with this Sweepstakes; (iv) any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance, possession, or use of the prize. Sponsor reserves the right, at Sponsor's sole discretion, to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of California or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of California.
By accepting the Sweepstakes Prize, except where legally prohibited, winner grants permission (and agrees to confirm that grant in writing) to Sponsor and those acting under Sponsor's authority the right to the use of his/her name, photo, likeness, voice, biographical information and statements, at any time or times, for advertising, trade publicity, promotional and commercial purposes without additional compensation, in connection with the running or advertising of this Sweepstakes. Potential winners shall be required to complete an affidavit or declaration of eligibility/liability release and, except where prohibited, a publicity release and such other documents as may be required by Sponsor. Required documents must be signed, notarized and received by Sponsor within ten (10) business days of the date printed on the prize notification. Failure to execute or timely return the prize notification documentation may result in forfeiture of prize.
Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash or credit. All necessary taxes and duties on the prize, and any other costs associated with maintaining or operating the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winners.
7. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION: BY ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, ENTRANTS RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS WARNER BROS. ENTERTAINMENT INC. AND EACH OF ITS RESPECTIVE PARENTS, DIVISIONS, AFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, AGENTS AND ADVERTISING AGENCIES (COLLECTIVELY, "WBEI") FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, RIGHTS, CLAIMS, AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND ARISING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED ACTIVITY (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE REMOVAL FROM THE SITE OF, OR DISCONTINUATION OF ACCESS TO, ANY MATERIALS), OR RESULTING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE AWARDED IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, AS WELL AS CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, AND/OR INVASION OF PRIVACY.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: IN NO EVENT WILL WBEI BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF ANY ACCESS TO AND/OR USE OF THE SWEEPSTAKES SITE, THE DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES SITE, THE REMOVAL FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES SITE OF, OR DISCONTINUATION OF ACCESS TO, ANY MATERIALS, OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF, OR ANY HARM RESULTING FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF, OR PARTICIPATION IN, ANY PRIZE AWARDED IN CONNECTION WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE SWEEPSTAKES, ALL PRIZES, AND ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED ON OR THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
