And so another week has gone by, thus it is high time to see what the women of the Caribbean have been discussing, don't you think?

We'll start things off at Linda from My Barbados Blog, who informs us that the passport deadline for the Caribbean has been extended for one week:

If you're planning to fly to Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean (that means you if you're taking a cruise this winter) and you are departing or returning after Jan. 8, 2007, you will need a passport to exit and re-enter the United States.

I know that this rule has been a headache to many of the non U.S. Caribbean islands. Here's to hoping that many people apply for a passport.

Yardee! Gleaner News Blog informs us that the Prime Minister of Jamaica, Ms. Portia Simpson Miller appeared in the Forbes List. Good for Jamaica, and good for the Caribbean.

Gela from 'Gela N The City talks about that crazy time: elections.

The politicians are at it again. Election is in the air and the politicians are reeling out the promises like there's no tomorrow. Who knows, there probably won't be any tomorrow for the loser.

And a Teenage Perfectionist got some great news:

Bloggers, I was granted a uk student visa today. I was so nervous in the waiting room, since every one who finished their interview did not get a visa.

Congratulations! Good luck in the U.K.!!

Well, everyone, that was that for this week. Don't forget to check out our blogroll or past entries for other great links to Caribbean blogs.
