Jen Leo's blog for travel writers, The Written Road, is a great read for those with or without a laptop. In operation since 2002, the blog gives tons of practical links for writers, as well as practical resources for travelers, interesting industry news, travel book reviews, and links to Reno's other publications, including "The Thong Also Rises" and "Sand in my Bra."

Jen also writes the Viva Las Vegas Travel Blog - as comprehensive and fun a virtual visit to Sin City as you're likely to find online.

A contributing writer at both of Reno's blogs, Kelly Amabile also writes Lost in Place, a blog she is writing in preparation for a five-month trip to Europe beginning this February. Amabile's insights into her desire to follow her own road make this blog a personal (and creatively engaging) read.
