Lulu Loves London (and Manhattan) but recently she's been traveling to Sardinia, a place I'd love to visit myself. Until I can actually go there, I'm enjoying traveling virtually with her, seeing the food porn and getting a lesson in Italian geography.

Lulu started with a post telling us a bit about Sardinia and her holiday plans. Her first Sardinia post talked about visiting Cagliari and Chia. She had an amazing dinner on a boat.

Next, she went to Tortoli. She enjoyed pane carasau, a type of very crisp Italian bread. (See how much I'm learning!) The Tortoli restaurants sound amazing.

Lulu says Costa Smerlada is the jewel in Sardinia's crown. Next she went to Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo. At Porto Certo Marina she visited Acqua Bar Ristorante.

Still to come are Lulu's descriptions of the Amalfi Coast and Rome, both places I've actually visited. I'm going to keep reading to see what she says about those.

Contributing editor Kalyn Denny mostly blogs about food at Kalyn's Kitchen in Salt Lake City, Utah, but she tries to travel as much as she can.
