Organic Goat Cheese photo by Haalo of Cook (almost) Anything At Least Once.
Haalo lives in Melbourne, Australia and produces photos of amazing food. I've been enjoying her series of posts on the cheese produced in her area, and I'm learning a bit about Australia too.
She started with a taste of organic goat cheese from Sutton Grange Organic Farm, Victoria.
Next, a type of cheese called Virgo from Woodside, Adelaide Hills, South Australia.
Then a cheese called Discovery Scrubbed Brie from King Island.
From Red Hill Cheese, a type of cow cheese called (what a great name for a cheese!) Indulgence. This is produced on Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
And the last cheese so far in this great series, and possibly the most interesting, Grabbetto: Ashed and White Mould Goat Cheese from Yering, Victoria.
I'm hoping there's more cheese still to come. What's your favorite type of cheese?
Contributing editor Kalyn Denny cooks with cheese a lot and writes about it on Kalyn's Kitchen, but wishes she could travel to Australia and try these cheeses with Haalo!
