Thank you, Schnucks! Last night I was flying through the supermarket picking up supper ingredients. Suddenly, there I was in Aisle Five, doing backflips and shouting, woohoo!

Finally! Dreamfield's Pasta, the low-carb pasta that's SO worth eating, was back! (No, this is not a paid ad. Yes, this is an unqualified recommendation.) You see, a few months ago, near the bottom of the low-carb product bust, the store stripped the shelves of all low-carb product dust, throwing the Dreamfields out with the bathwater. But it's back, folks, it's back! Me, I bought three boxes, just to send a dollars-n-sense thank you note to the store.

So get out the Parmesan and bring on the pasta! Dreamfield's is still available in limited shapes but here are ideas for ...

Elbows ... from The Wednesday Chef
Spaghetti ... from Sweetnicks
Lasagna ... from Mantia's Musings
Rotini ... from Laura Rebecca's Kitchen
Linguini ... from Albion Cooks
Penne ... in the mood for humor, not a recipe? check out the very funny WaiterRant

Contributing Editor Alanna Kellogg is more a Weight Watchers kinda gal at A Veggie Venture and Kitchen Parade but thanks to Kalyn's Kitchen, keeps an eye on low carbs too.

And I just got my wisdom teeth out two days ago and I'm not quite at the chewing food again stage yet.

Oh my kingdom for some pasta...

I bought this recently, after seeing Kalyn rave about it. I got the lasagna noodles and am looking forward to making my daughter's favorite dish with them.

I was lucky that my very fave store never quit carrying it, but I still can't get them to carry the rotini for some strange reason. I buy the other shapes all the time!! Dreamfield's is awesome.

Hmm. Maybe I'll make some of my famous chicken lasagna today. I haven't blogged about that recipe yet.
