Everyone knows that foodies love cheese, and if you're even a partial foodie you've probably tried a lot of cheeses at various times, but have you tried marinated cheese?

To make the lovely Capriole Farms Chevre Apertifs you see pictured above, Christine buys the goat cheese at her local farmer's market and then marinates it in olive oil, garlic, basil, rosemary, and thyme.

Inspired by Haalo and then Tulin, Paz of The Cooking Adventures of Chef Paz creates a Marinated Feta with Herbs that sounds fantastic. The version Paz created inspired a slightly different version of Marinated Feta created by Blogher contributing editor Sam.

Two wonderful versions of marinated Chevre were made by Molly of Orangette.

And for those with slightly less interest in cooking, but a healthy interest in eating, on a blog that's new to me, Cheese Underground Lady writes about a type of Wisconsin goat cheese that you can buy already marinated.

Contributing editor Kalyn Denny writes the food blog Kalyn's Kitchen from Salt Lake City, but she has yet to make marinated cheese of any type.
