Hi I'm Nicky

I joined blogher a while ago but never really made my way to the forums today!

I'm an English lass living at the top o'Scotland for the unforeseeable future..

My weblog is kind of a mishmash of personal experiences, idealism, raising awareness of issues I think are important (I'm BIG on environmental stuff and have a category/series on the subject - I'm doing my second degree in Geosciences at the moment), rants and reviews. I've just started a "series" of entries about the labels we are given in our society. I'm also organising next April's LifePost Blogathon to raise money for cancer charities..

I also like playing at being a web designer and I'm developing a site for my "portfolio" of sites and weblogs I have created designs for.

Offline, as I said, I'm studying for a BSc through the Open University and I'm currently without as job, so I do a lot of housework instead! I'm also attempting to improve my drawing skills (I like the manga art particularly) and like to read scifi/fantasy and listen to a wide variety of music..
