I wanted to call this post "Holly Loses Her NCAA Football Virginity" but I thought it would attract the wrong kind of crowd.
Either way, HollyRhea went to her very first college football game last weekend. Her post is full of pictures, videos and statement like this:
Seriously, there was screaming, yelling, the Golden Girl twirling three batons ON FIRE, a dirigible overhead - filming it all, and some football in there, too. In the beginning of it all a couple of troops were supposed to skydive onto the field for some sort of ceremony. Some guys kept bringing out the X, taking it back off, bringing it out, taking it off. It never happened. I like to think the soldiers landed in some corn-field somewhere instead: “We aimed for yellowâ€.
Holly is always funny, but this post kills me.
I love going to football games, but I can understand where it could be somewhat of a culture shock your first time. It is like going to your first Pink Floyd concert. Things are just different there.
