As I write this, seven Iranian women have been condemned to death by stoning for "crimes against chastity", and Iranian blogger Ali Eteraz is calling on you to help save their lives. The seven women were convicted of crimes ranging from adultery to being the victim of rape. Eteraz has links to background on the women'cases, petitions you can sign, and a letter to the Supreme Iranian Leader Ayatollah Khameini that you can cut, paste and e-mail. Eteraz warns:
"If you fail to do any or even some of these, I assure you that you will remember the image of a bunch of stones pinging against a woman’s head cracking open her skull sometime after October 12. You have eight days."
