Welcome to the new and improved BlogHer blogNetwork. Together we're building a guide to women bloggers.
Our network's approach is new. Some might call it citizen journalism. Others might call it community news. I call it a natural next step for women who blog, who use their personal printing presses to explore every single facet of their lives. What do you call it?
If you're new to the site or, heaven forbid, new to the fact that millions of women are blogging, don't take my word for it -- take a look for yourself. Start with a tour of our 20+ popular topics and you'll find lists of blogs by women and constantly updating guides to what's hot, written by our contributing editors. Each editor has an expertise and passion for her subject area--you'll be the smarter for it as these talented writers update you with the latest, greatest posts by women. If you can tear yourself away from our ballooning blogrolls, that is. (Here's how to list a blog yourself.)

And I've saved the best for last: You can also find out all about BlogHer Conference '06, from registration to sponsorships. Our 2005 inaugural conference sold out with 300+ attendees and national press attention, and was made possible by our amazing sponsors. BlogHer Con '06 will double in size, thanks to the exceptional work of my colleagues, co-founders Elisa Camahort and Jory Des Jardins.
So welcome to the network the community launched. Join us as we build it. I look forward to hearing what you think.
And if you're in the San Francisco Bay Area, please join our beta launch party at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30 in SF. More here.
Best,
Lisa
