I couldn't be more excited to be a part of the BlogHer team, and am eagerly looking forward to getting to know all of you better - both online and in person. And what better way (or time of year) to do so than with a Bay Area BlogHer Holiday Bash?

WHO: All Bay Area (and beyond) BlogHers
WHEN: Thursday, December 14th
TIME: 5:30 to 8 p.m.
WHERE: Cafe Royale, 800 Post St. @ Leavenworth in San Francisco

Our holiday event is a great opportunity for you to meet, mingle & jingle with your fellow BlogHers in a festive, chic-but-cozy atmosphere.

Cafe Royale wil be offering complimentary hors d'oeuvres along with a fine selection of wines, beers, and Soju cocktails at a no-host bar. So join the party, and eat, drink, and be merry!

Just got directions to the party from BART

Just got directions to the party from BART. So any other contemplating the same thing:

get off at the Powell Street station. Walk up Powell to Post - about four blocks. Then turn left and walk up Post about four blocks to Leavenworth. We're at 800 Post, NW corner at Leavenworth.

My husband and I just returned to the SF Bay Area after living in Toronto, Canada for two years. That didn't stop me from attending BlogHer '06. It rocked!

I just wanted to say thanks for arranging the Holiday Bash. It is always fun to be in a roomful of bloggers. I used to live around the corner from this cafe and it was fund to revisit a former haunt of mine.
