Festive food is popular. Just ask Anna of Morsels and Musings who recently sponsored her first-ever food blog event, a Festive Food Fair. Here's how Anna described the offerings:
Together we shared 67 recipes for birthdays, family gatherings, visiting guests, BBQs, parent-teacher nights, bridal showers, Christmas, Channukah, Diwali, Thanksgiving, Karthigai Deepam, New Years Eve, Chinese New Year, Stir-Up-Sunday and Advent.
You read that right, sixty-seven entries! These are a few recipes that caught my eye:
Death by Chocolate Cookies from Coconut Chutney.
Pecan Pralines from Buttermilk Clouds.
Masala Chai from Foodie's Hope.
Perfectly Cooked Crisp Duck with Mango Chutney from Nosh.
Of course everyone has their own idea of Festive Food, so head over to Anna's to see the whole list.
Contributing Editor Kalyn Denny from Kalyn's Kitchen submitted Double Berry Jello Salad for the Festive Food Fair.
