Lemons are in season now and recipes abound for this lemony topping for toast and filling for cakes. Last summer I spent some time chatting it up with Charlotte of Love and Cooking who told me in great detail about her mother's famous meyer lemon curd. Deb of In My Kitchen has her version of the recipe. Australian Lyn of Lex Culinaria just posted instructions for a gorgeous homemade lemon curd. And Stephanie of Joy of Baking details theory and method in her recipe. All are similar approaches, but with their own unique variations.
