Fox News covered it as a FOX NEWS ALERT. As the media waited with baited breath to hear Donald utter the words he once tried to copyright-- Donald did what Donald does. He got more headlines.
If this whole MISS USA escapade were an algebraic equation it would look something like this Scandel + redemption =Rating Bonanza $$$$$$
That's right. The Donald is in need of a rating boost for his poorly viewed MISS USA FRANCHISE. As found in Wikipedia
The finals were broadcast by NBC, with 7.75 million viewers, the second-lowest viewership ever recorded.[1]
In Fairness, the Miss Universe Pageant was considered a ratings winner for NBC when it aired in July against reruns on the other networks.
Sex, lies and a benevolent boss. Could it get any better? Of course it can! She goes to rehab and comes out a 'role model' for the troubled youth of America. AC Nielsen can you hear me now?
Then there's the issue of Trump's other employees. Is it true that he believes in giving people(his employees)a second chance? Does the Trump organization have the reputation of supporting employees who are trying to overcome drugs, alcohol,and wild sex?
When I checked Google for the Trump Organization's Rehab policy I came up with stories about rehabbing casinos and ice-skating rinks--nothing on employees getting a second chance to publicly thank the man MISS USA refers to as "having a heart of gold."
You got that right,sweetie. It's all about the gold.And you,Tara Conners,are considered a goldmine,albeit a flawed goldmine, which by the way is likely to increase in value.
Donald couldn't do what Donald does if the media didn't provide the platform. While I realize it was a slow news day --there's a war in Iraq,genocide in Dafur,heavy fighting in Somalia, a bird flu outbreak in VietNam, and the Australian Federal Court ruled on an internet copyright issue that caused bloggers to pause--FOX NEWS decided that the real news of the day was Donald Trump's news conference on a beauty queen that no one but the clubs in New York are even aware of.
