Blog for Choice Day logoBlog for Choice Day is January 22, 2007 -- Jessica Valenti, who is organising this blog activism on behalf of Bush v. Choice, explains this event and how you can participate:

"On January 22nd—the 34th anniversary of Roe v. Wade—NARAL Pro-Choice America is asking pro-choice bloggers to raise the profile of reproductive rights issues in the blogosphere and the media, and to let everyone know that a woman's right to choose is nonnegotiable.

"So blog for choice on January 22nd, and this year's topic is a simple one: tell us, and your readers, why you're pro-choice.

"You can sign up for Blog for Choice Day here and download a Blog for Choice Day sidebar graphic (to let your readers know that you're participating) here."

Blog for Choice Day started last year, and I thought it was a resounding success in terms of raising awareness and showing support. You can read some of the posts I gathered from last year's event: "Blog for Choice Day round-up".

Melinda, are you aware of any place that is pulling together the Blog for Choice blogs? I would love to point readers to a comprehensive list. I saw a few listed already at Bush v. Choice - is that where we should go?
