"Based on your own family's experience, what do you think we should do to improve health care in America?''

Hillary Clinton posted the above question on Yahoo Answers
and over 35,000 people answered.

Clinton joined Yahoo Answers in September 2006. She posted a question in October, `How can we help to prevent and someday eradicate breast cancer, which has touched the lives of so many people?'' and got 4890 responses according to Mercury News.
She also contributes to Blog For Hope at Yahoo.

Apparently this question received the second most responses in Yahoo Answers history....#1 was Oprah who asked ``If you were given $1,000 to change the life of a perfect stranger, what would you do?'' and received 37,000 suggestions.

Hillary Clinton says she wants to have a conversation
with America. I think it is clear that America wants to talk about Health Care.

It is also clear that Hillary Clinton is going to strategically use social media...according to Search Engine Journal,Yahoo Answers "dominates social media in community" with 17.9 million members (ComScore); importantly, " this question by Senator Clinton on health care has resulted in an estimated 1,250 pages of responses." That is a lot of content.

This is what I call communication, when politician try to listen to what people want. Impressing.

I'm more interested in what Hillary does next. All sorts of big name folks and big name organizations have used Yahoo Answers - but so far, I haven't seen any of those people take their answers and do anything with them.

Or maybe I've missed that? What did Bono do with the answers to his poverty question?
