There is the meme going around in the triathlete blogging world. The questions range from describing a memory from the first triathlon that the blogger ever participated in to current goals and self discovery.
Of course, my favorite question is number 3:
3. What's the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you in a tri?
Heh, heh. Let's see what stories our athletes have for us today. TriSaraTops has a good one:
...I KNOCKED OVER THE ENTIRE RACK OF BIKES. Nice job, Slick. I was totally "THAT GUY."
Robin at Ironmom claims:
...it's probably the time I got passed in the run by a pregnant lady. I mean really pregnant. Did I mention I'm a slow runner??
Poor Momo had this moment:
...at mile 80 of the bike at FL when I yelled, in no uncertain terms to my husband, I NEED GAS-X!
These lady triathletes have a wonderful network.
They seems to all be supportive of each other. I think it is also nice to see that after all that incredibly hard work (and knowing that they could all kick my ass) that they still don't take themselves too seriously to have a little fun with it.
