Well, sheyoot. I didn't make the finals, dangit, but a few blogs I enjoy, including Ian's Brave New Traveler, Jocelyn's TripHub's Group Trip Advisor and Carolyn's amazing Girl Solo in Arabia did make the cut. I'm not too surprised to see Vagablogging and Gridskipper, but wonder where World Hum is. Anyhoo, the list of finalists is here on Upgrade: Travel Better.
I'd love to see some of these bloggers get recognition, not just because handful of them have featured my writing. And even if you don't vote, travel blog readers will surely find something new and worthy on the list.
Now, off you go. I'm going to sit here and have an existential blogging crisis. Is it because my blog isn't exclusive to travel? I know, it's because I'm not linky enough. No, it's because literary travel is another thing entirely, wildly unappreciated and whine whine whine whine whine I was robbed! Robbed I tellya!
A-hem. Go vote at the Travvies. Yes, that was what I meant to say. Good stuff there, I mean it.
Pam's blog, Nerd's Eye View, was robbed.

Alternative Travvies
The UK's Guardian newspaper had a "Best of the net" article this past weekend that highlighted some other travel blogs that they considered "Alternative Travvies."
You may recognize one of them....:)
