A Cookie Named Desire

My name is Amanda and I am the writer, head chef, and recipe develper of A Cookie Named Desire. I started my blog after years of making up my own recipes and always forgetting how I made each dish. A lot of my recipes are based off past and current life experiences and memories and are very personal to me. It makes me so happy to get a chance to share my food and recipes with everyone and maybe even help them create their own memories around the food they make from the blog.

Cheddar Pumpkin Sage Scones

I originally planned on sharing some pretzel pizza rolls with you today, but then I made these cheddar pumpkin sage scones this weekend and man oh man, I really needed to post them for you now. Coconut Almond (Almond Joy) Granola Bars

As a self-professed snackaholic, granola bars are one of my favorite things to snack on. They are so easy to whip together, there is an infinite number of ways to make granola bars, and I consider them a guilt-free snack cause of all the oats and nuts and stuff. This time around, the “stuff” happens to be a nice amount of toasted coconut, mini chocolate chips, and some nice chopped almonds and a drizzling of ganache ....more
