Seven social change Bloghers you should be reading ...

Last month of I did a roundup of nonprofit technology bloghers.  This month I took a quick trip through our Blogher Blogroll for Ngos and Social Change and wanted to point you to a few social change bloghers you might enjoy adding to your reader.

Not too long ago, I had the pleasure of interviewing Angela Devlen who works in the field of Emergency Management and writes about the topic on a group blog called Big Medicine.  Angela has just launched a new blog called "Local Effort, Global Impact: One Woman's Voice"   Her new blog will focus the issues of violence against women, gender issues in disasters, advancing the field of emergency management, and family advocacy. 

Blogging for a Cause is written by a Trish Snyder who is a Relay for Life volunteer.  Her blog first started as a personal project she worked on as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society.  She connects with both cancer survivors and caregivers.  Her blogs highlights how personal blogging can provide a support network and highlights cancer resources.

Charitable Thoughts is from Dalene Bradford, a former teacher, nonprofit staffer, and foundation executive who works as an independent consultant.  Her blog shares her wisdom about nonprofit organizational effectiveness.

Exceptional Lives Blog is written by Clare Mulvaney from Ireland who is traveling the globe to interview people who change our with their life stories.  Fascinating reading.

Dollar Philanthropy is a blog about how donating just $1 can make a huge difference.  Written by Carol Krishner, the blog hopes to create a network of individuals who will donate a single dollar each week to a reputable nonprofit organization.

The Org2.0 Blog is taking a close look on web2.0 and nonprofits.  It's written by Patricia Goldman, who started the e-business group at the March of Dimes.

smArts & Culture covers arts marketing and technology and is written by Maryann Devine. Trained as a visual artist, Maryann understands on many levels the rewards and challenges of creating, participating, and marketing the arts.  Her blog reflects this expertise.
