Blogher '06 mixtape?????

coming out of my new-found appreciation for PINK.

This might be a good way to;

a/ direct publicity to chick-musicians during before and after the conference

b/ have a good driving/flying/training mix to listen to on the way back.

Here's how I see it happening

#1/ collect a list of a bunch of favorite chick music here on the forum

#2/ contact publicist for said musicians - get rights to reproduce songs on a compilation as s donation.

#3/ hook up with Itunes music store or some other micro distro to distribute said mix via store

or...

#4/ release the mix as a podcast just before the conference for free

#3/#4/ are dependant on whether this is a fundraising effort or just a publicity scheme.

I am all for mix tapes of chick music...

and it doesn't have to include Madonna - but it does have to include pink.
