Plenty of food bloggers make good home-baked bread; that's hardly news. But when three of the best bakers on the internet team up for A Year of Bread, people start to pay attention.
The participants are Susan of Farmgirl Fare, Beth of Kitchenmage, and Kevin of Seriously Good, and they made three separate announcements of their commitment to each try a new bread recipe every month for a year and collect them for other bakers to try.
Now, time to make a bookmark or save this to del.icio.us, so you can find their year-long-collection of bread recipes when that break-baking urge hits you.
Food Editor Kalyn Denny of Kalyn's Kitchen mostly makes bread in the bread machine, but she did write about How to Choose the Right Bread for the South Beach Diet for World Bread Day.

You've made me want to bake again
I got into making bread for a while. Maybe it's only that I'm hungry right now, but your post has made me want to bake bread again. Guess I'll visit the year-long collection of recipes. And this at a time when I'm considering cutting back on wheat. :-)

Homemade Bread Always Impresses Me!
Nordette, I'm such a bread machine girl, that homemade from-scratch bread always impresses me. If you you try one of their recipes, tell us how it feels to be baking bread again.
