With a BS in English and a minor in Spanish and an MBA, my true loves are writing, fitness, and nutrition. While I doubt I will become the next great novelist or the next Chalene Johnson, the next best thing must be a fitness blogger where I can utilize my two great passions, writing and fitness. I have a future goal of becoming certified as a Nutrition and Wellness Consultant through AFPA.

I am a self-proclaimed foodie. While I try to make good food choices, I believe in moderation so you don't have to deprive yourself of those not so healthy foods. (One chocolate cupcake won’t make you fat. A small cheat is not overeating!) I have been tracking my food and exercise for quite some time now with My Fitness Pal and UP, & I am a strong believer in a daily food & fitness journal. This blog was created for me to find my healthy balance & and will hopefully help others who enjoy reading about my journey. Enjoy!
