Maybe you like to share.
Maybe you want to maximize your time with your fellow BlogHers.
Or maybe you simply want to make BlogHer '07 as affordable as possible.
Whatever your reason, if you'd like to share a hotel room with someone but don't know where to start, we've set up a forum for you:
Click here to be connected to potential roommates.
As a reminder, we are working with two hotels and a hostel to give you the best rates possible at locations near the Navy Pier. You can find out more about them and book your rooms here. (Note: Rooms are going fast, so we encourage you to book soon!)
If you are a little concerned about the idea of sharing a room with someone you don't really know, there are a couple things you may want to consider. For one, there will be a LOT of stuff going on. It's possible that you'll be too busy to spend more than a few minutes each day in your room. And since your conference fee includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and cocktail receptions on both nights, there's no need to return to the hotels during the day (unless you want to, of course).
Also, remember that a lot of BlogHers are in the same unsure boat you are. ("Should I go? What if I don't know anyone?") Finding a roomie is a great way to get to know another attendee before the conference even begins (though it's a good bet that you'll know several attendees by the time the conference ends...).

Great way to make awesome friends!
My first year at BlogHer found me rooming with 2 complete strangers (though I was much stranger then they were) and I ended up leaving BlogHer with two new awesome friends and business partners. It is a great way to make deeper friendships.
And honestly, you really are only in your room for a very short time anyway! (Even if the hotel doesn't try to kill you.)

It would be great to have something like this to help arrange carpools and share parking costs for us local folk!
