Maria at Her Jazz has been invited to speak at the SXSW panel about MP3 blogs. As far as I can tell, she's the only female on the panel, joining Scott Stereogum and Mark from Music (for Robots), among others.

Maria is a New Jersey native living in Philadelphis, and her does booking in Philly with Plain Parade. She has been a DJ, a student and a writer with Rockpile magazine and others, but at the moment works primarily on her blog and at her job at the University of Pennsylvania.

Her Jazz features music by Philadelphia bands and news about upcoming Philly events, but remains relevant and worthwhile even for those not residing in the tri-state area. Maria is a talented writer and photographer, and anyone interested in music, art, writing and photography should stop by and check her out.
