If you're feeling overwhelmed by the doom-and-gloom stories about our earth burning up, chill out a bit. Lemme get you started -- by pointing you to some fun eco games. Yes, playing might suck up some eco-activism time, but that's excusable because, you know, you're developing your environmental consciousness --
The Adventures of KabMan. Point this superhero toward the recyclables and away from the non-recycleables. Despite its simplicity, this game gets strangely addicting --
Climate Challenge. With great power comes great responsibility -- and in this game, you're the president of the European Nations, responsible for tackling global climate change from 2000 to 2100. Try to go green while negotiating with other nations, keeping the economy running, and making your constituents happy.
World Without Oil. Enter an alternate reality, in which you're living through a global oil shock. Contribute your original online story -- via text, photo, audio, video -- reporting on this crisis. Developed via nonprofit funding, World Without Oil’s the brainchild of Jane McGonigal, creator of Cruel 2 B Kind.
I wouldn't bother with the Planet Green "game" though. It's a bit of a bore --
