Where are all the Irish bloggers

I have only been blogging these past two months and the only other person that I know that has a blog is my sister who lives in Australia. That was one of the reasons I started blogging. So she could read up on what I've been up to and check out the photos of my kids that I post. I also wanted to showcase my art works. I've listed my blogs on Irish Blogs but haven't come into contact with Irish bloggers. Where are all you girls?!!!I've been in touch with people from the USA, the UK, etc.

Blogging seems to be pretty new over here and people seem surprised when I tell them that I blog. I think it's a great networking tool and am really enjoying myself as I blog away.

Hi Keynoter,

Just saw your comment and wanted to say...I'm Irish and a blogger and there are loads of us :).

I've been blogging for almost 2 years and have met up with loads of Irish Bloggers, quite a few of them women. We just had the second Irish Blog Awards and quite a few women walked away with awards. If you get in touch with me, I'll send you some links to some great Irish women bloggers who are very friendly and supportive.

My own blog is at www.gingerpixel.com

Does Irish American count?

Ok I suppose not. Is being sort of Irish like being, sort of pregnant? In any case. I just wanted to say hi.

(I'm also surprised to hear that there are actually blog awards!)

Irish Bloggers

Thanks for your comments girls. I checked out your blogs and left comments there. I love your sites!!

Great Blogs

Ellen I loved seeing your work ing progress. I work with acrylics myself, but I'm still amazed by the transformation from vision to completed project.

Ginger your audio of Twinkle Twinkle made my sleepy two year old smile with delight. Thanks.

I've used acrylics myself

I've used acrylics myself but am now using this new water based oil paint which has a great oil texture but is easier to clean up after! Have you anywhere I can see some of your paintings?

Ginger I listened to that

Ginger I listened to that Twinkle Twinkle rendition and just had to laugh! Tooooooooo cute. I also noticed all the Irish blogs you have listed and so I took the opportunity of checking out a few. Great Stuff and thanks so much. I'm looking forward to seeing how the election results turn out for Bertie! Pity I didn't get to vote though.

My Art

Ellen,

Sorry it has taken me a while to answer your question. My laptop has been acting up, so I haven't had access to my photoshop files. I have uploaded a couple of paintings to my MySpace When you enter the page you will see a link "View My Pics" under my photo. You will see the Art Album.
Thanks for asking about them.

I clicked on the link Pics

I clicked on the link Pics but was brought straight to the general front page of My Space. Maybe that's because I have no account with them?

Love the music though!!
