I've been blogging away at Adoption.com for over a year now, but only recently found myself frustrated enough by the the constant refrain of 'on topic, on topic, on topic' to set up a personal space where I can write what I bloody well want to write in blog form.

As an adopted mom to two Cambodian-born wonders, I'm a passionate advocate of adoption, and because I live on a postage-stamp of a bit of land in the Indian Ocean, I write about life here, as well as about my kids and adoption issues, and share some of the joys and frustrations tropical paradise has to offer on a daily basis.

As an American expat, my POV of old stomping grounds suffers ... or benefits ... from many years looking from the outside in, and I talk about that, as well.

I'm looking forward to learning more about everyone here and what's great reading through blogher.
