Public Service Announcement: Help Girls Achieve Their Dreams

When I was in India in March, I saw girls like this everywhere I went. They lived in unsafe conditions, and many girls who were younger than this one were wandering the streets they called home only half dressed. It was devastating. And that is why I am so touched by My Free Implants plea to “help girls” get “free boob jobs.” No cause is worthier, and clearly this girl in a pile of rubble would agree.

For as little as $1.80 (less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks!), “benefactors” can help women achieve their body goals through their contributions to My Free Implants. You’ll get pictures of the women you help in the outfit of your choice, can watch them on webcams, and even send them messages. Several woman have already raised over $5,000! Thank god jerk off material ranks so highly on people’s priority lists! Really, it is a tragedy of epic proportions to think that there are women out there who want completely unnecessary surgery to live up to insane feminine standards of “sexiness” and can’t afford it! Even with a myriad of E-Z financing options, some ladies can’t get fake tits! Can you believe the injustice?!?! It brings a fuckin’ tear to my eye, really it does.

I know that there are organizations like Save the Children or CARE that are lame enough to think that ending homelessness, starvation, violence, and disease are more important causes than helping “the girl of YOUR dreams get the body of her dreams.” Obviously, they know nothing. Don’t be fooled. Help girls today by giving them free breast implants and other cosmetic procedures, and the world will be a better, more beautiful place.

Maybe I'm just over tired at the moment but I'm just thankful I have the healthy society and body that I want and am in a position to bring change.

I heard about a program on the radio about where you can help Indian families move out of poverty by building a sustainable business. I was driving at the time so couldn't take down the details so would love any leads as to what it was.

It was one of those great double whammy programs because it was resucing animals like dancing bears etc. The people who were trading and working tortured bears were being supported in moving into different businesses that were more profitable so they would keep with it while the bears were being taken away and cared for in safe environments.

I want to create businesses that are profitable so they can be constantly part of these programs to bring the change of self dignity and sustainability. I know this starts from small things (I already have a range of jewelry that raises research money) and grows but would love right now for it to be creating millions for these programs. But wouldn't we all!

Oooh! Oooh! I already have a pair, but can I get some on my back? I want to be memorable coming and going.

Ugh, I just had to go to that site and then google "gummy bear implants." Bleah.

Too bad there's no other way for people to help women who suffer from low self-esteem due to lack of plastic surgery. I can't think of any ( http://interplast.blogs.com/interplast/2007/03/no_... ) examples ( http://interplast.blogs.com/dhaka/2005/12/sufia.ht... ) at ( http://interplast.blogs.com/mytho2007/2007/03/clin... ) all ( http://interplast.blogs.com/interplast/2007/01/gur... ) of women who could benefit from a plastic surgeon's life-changing work more than the women on My Free Implants.

Your satire gave me the laugh I needed this morning.
Is the site a hoax itself? Unbelievable.

you have touched my heart with this post. i never knew girls lived in such plight. (*snort*)

in all seriousness, there is a pimpage/voyeurism aspect to this that is quite disturbing. blegh.

Dana's right. I'd LOVE to see an equivalent site with males. The possibilities are endless. Revolting, but endless.

This implants site just takes the cake. Where's the degrading fundraising site to help men with E.D? Let's put all the "hot guys" online who have that condition and we'll each choose the outfit (preferably orange jumpsuits) we'd like to see them in.

Ugh. Just when I think I've seen it all online, I'm surpised yet again.

"Girls, girls, girls" -- are we not ignoring our male counterparts in what may be their hours of deep need?

Where is the correlate organization for men who need to lipo their man-boobs? Or, if the need is further anatomically south -- perhaps a fund for Viagra ?

Men could be on webcam, too and could post their little stories about why we need to help them get their treatment of choice. And there would be pictures.

I've been wanting to get more involved, lately. Now I've got it! Pocket Change for Botox... I mean, it's not quite as lofty as this place, but it's a start.

Thank you for bringing the true issues to light, Suzanne. Rock on.

Thank you for bringing this critical situation to our attention. Those poor, poor women. No one should ever have to go through life flat-chested or with saggy, post-nursing-two-babies tits. Where do I send my check?

Ladies, this is a very serious issue! I am horrified by the lack of sympathy you seem to have for "girls" who need boob jobs.

And I should have hat-tipped Beth Kanter ( http://www.blogher.com/member/beth-kanter ) for bringing this dire situation to our attention. Thank you, Beth. Your generosity in helping to bring awareness to this critical cause will forever be appreciated.
