The Amazing Women's Power

You must forgive me if today I am posting something very personal and direct you to my own blog, instead of addressing you to others'.

But this is a story about the amazing, strong but also sweet energy that all of us women have. And I think you deserve to share this success with me.

My sister Marina, who has been in a deep coma for 28 days or a whole lunar cycle, woke up yesterday, making a fool of all the pessimistic doctors' opinions.

She's "landing" quietly and sweetly among us again.
Sure, it's still a long road to recovery. She cannot speak or coordinate her movements yet,but it will come. One thing at the time, as I whisper in her ear softly twice a day.

Check out the story clicking on:

I wrote a book about the life of nine reckless women but I never knew anybody so reckless to learn how to breath, talk and walk again.

My sister is showing me that I did not need to travel the whole world to find the more reckless woman I could ever meet.

Thanks to all of you who have been sending my way good thoughts and energy. I definitely felt it!

This is so wonderful, you are both amazing, stay strong, and you will be in my prayers, for continued recovery.

Oh Gloria -- We do not know eachother, but that does not prevent me from celebrating your joy at Marina's return. I am adding my heartfelt prayers to the healing energy of others. As the Lakota say, "Mitakuye Oyasin" --> "We are all related."

May you both be well -

Gloria, I confess, I hadn't visited your blog before I read this post - and I'm so sorry that I hadn't, before now. I could have sent you and Marina some of my energy and thoughts - you both have them now.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that the goodwill and loving kindness that flows within a group such as BlogHer is a remarkable force. You will both be in my thoughts from now on.

The best to you both!

Gloria, *WONDERFUL*! I have been thinking about you and Marina for a solid month, hoping this was possible. You are an amazing source of support for her, I know. xo L

That's fantastic, comas are scarey scarey things. Your sister is obviously a very strong woman.

I'm sending her lots of reckless powerful woman feelings.
