The Daily Headache
by Denise

I sometimes think I should write a blog called The Daily Headache. Fortunately, it's already been done and been done well.

Kerrie is a chronic migraine sufferer who has been blogging on The Daily Headache since June of last year. Her posts cover everything from medications and treatment to coping with chronic pain.

Nerve stimulators seem almost like magic to me so anytime I see someone write about this topic I jump in to learn more. I don't understand how they work, but I want to. Kerrie has a nerve stimulator and her posts are really interesting.

Just imagine...

My head still hurts all the time, but some days the pain doesn't exceed a 2. Most of the time I'm at a 3 or 4. Three to five days a week the pain will grow to a five or six. Once or twice a week it will be 7+. These numbers sound scary, but compared to before I got the stimulator my pain is a piece of cake. My baseline pain was around 5 with daily fluctuations up to a 7. The pain would reach 8 and above at least five times a week.

Wow. Once or twice a week, 7+. Wow. If the nerve stimulator has made that kind of difference to her, I am truly in awe. I can't imagine what having a 7+ that often would be like. Can you?
