Need tuition? Tell the mommies!

BlogHer Original Post

In a perfect world, everyone who wants to attend BlogHer '06 can and will. Of course, the world is far from ideal. And some bloghers will miss the conference due to scheduling conflicts. But if you think you'll be missing the conference due to inability to pay for registration, be aware that there are scholarship options available. One such option is to ask the Mommybloggers; they will be gifting one deserving blogger with conference tuition.

If you'd like to apply for this scholarship, go visit the Mommybloggers and read all about it. This offer is open to ALL BLOGGERS:

This is open to any blogger who wants to go to BlogHer '06. Not just mommybloggers. Anyone who really wants to be a part of BlogHer '06.

All entries need to be received by May 10th, 2006. The entire process is simple and shouldn't be too time consuming for a blogger. This is what we need from you:

Your name:

Your email address:

Your URL:

A brief (500 words or less) essay telling us why you want to go and/or what you hope to get out of the conference. This year's conference theme is "How is your blog changing your world?" You, of course, don't have to write about that, but it would be interesting to hear how your blog HAS changed your world. We are basing this on why you want to go not on why you cannot go. We just want to hear from you about why you want to be a part of BlogHer this year.

Don't need a scholarship, but want to help the Mommybloggers with their fund? Go buy some Mommybloggers swag. Or contact them directly about arranging a donation.

I love it when bloggers work together to help other bloggers. Here's to the Mommybloggers and whomever ends up attending BlogHer '06 thanks to their generosity!
