Ten Pounds Lighter by BlogHer '06.

I've noticed a number of our food editors and our health/wellness editors are blogging about people choosing to get healthier and lose a few pounds. It seems they are all writing about food choices or shudder fasting. (or I've missed the exercise portion. In which case, I apologize). I eat 1200-1400 calories a day; I need to move more.

Looking at my calendar this morning, it seems very do-able that even I could successful lose 10# by BlogHer if I committed.

Anyone else wish to join me in committing to be 10 pounds lighter when we meet at BlogHer? We can state our plan here, and blog about it on our personal blogs. I even give you permission to bust me if I fall behind.

1. I will walk atleast 1.5 miles/day. Atleast two days/week I will walk 3+ miles.

2. I will do muscle building exercise 3 days/ week/atleast a half-hour each time.

3. I will try to figure out how I can eat more calories without eating more fat.

Off to leash up the dogs for that 3 mile walk...
