Last night I saw An Inconvenient Truth, Al Gore's thought-provoking film about global warming. It struck me that one thing everyone can do to help combat this problem is grow more plants. That's exactly the idea behind Green Blog Project.
Green Blog Project was the brilliant idea of L.G., who writes a relatively newbie food blog called Ginger and Mango. The idea is that everyone who writes a food blog, or any blog for that matter, will try to grow at least one food item, use what you grew in a recipe, post about it, and then send the link to be included as part of Green Blog Project. The round-up of posts will happen twice a year, to accomodate growing seasons in each hemisphere, with the first one scheduled for September. So get growing, cooking, and posting, and become part of Green Blog Project.Don't forget to see An Inconvenient Truth either, and check this list of things you can do to help stop global warming.
