Allow me to point you to our Day Two schedule, where you will notice something new on the schedule:

BlogHer (and yoga instructor) Mollie Guillemette has offered to lead a free morning yoga session before Day Two gets underway on Saturday morning. The class will start at 7AM and run about 45 minutes. It will overlap slightly with breakfast, but should give participants enough time to change and get some food before our opening session.

Here's a message from Mollie:

I've practiced yoga for 8 years. About 2 years ago, I came to a place where my practice awoke, and I gradually began to make it a more and more important part of my life. This eventually led to my becoming a yoga teacher. I am still very new in my teaching of yoga, but I have a strong desire to learn and share, both of which are important components of yoga. I teach vinyasa yoga, a style of yoga that focuses on the breath in conjunction with movement. The practice that I will lead conference goers through will be gentle and participants don't have to be flexible or very athletic. I will focus on leading us through poses that release tension and open up the chest (I imagine that a lot of people at the conference are folks who spend much of their day hunched over a computer, collapsing their chest in on itself.) If people have a yoga mat, it would be great if they can bring it, but it is definitely not a requirement to have a mat.

I write for one-change, a blog that focuses mostly on the environment and some human rights issues. The blog is meant to inform readers about the environment and human rights issues and supply them with practical and manageable changes they can make to their lifestyle that will make a difference. It's about making one change at a time.

There are a few choices of location to hold the session, so if you're interested please leave a comment here, so we can pick the best space to accommodate the session.

Thanks to Mollie for offering to share her yoga practice with BlogHer!

I've been meaning to get back to the gym and take yoga again. What do I do instead? Sit in front of computer. What better than to break the ol' yoga ice with a bunch of blogher bloggers?

I will probably forget my mat. It will be the last thing I'm thinking about when I pack, but you can count me in! Thanks for doing this.

I'm thinking I might be a little hung-over, but um... I definitely need to wake up at some point, so might as well be for something fab like this!

I'm allergic to mornings, but what the heck, I'll be up early that day anyway... I'd love to join in, it'll wake me up properly in time for the first Blogher session of the day!

This is very kind of you to offer to do. Yoga is becoming very important in my life lately (I have even started an anonymous [for now] blog to write about yoga), so I am grateful for the opportunity to practice at BlogHer!

If we don't behave the night before, and possibly don't sleep at all, we will be downward-facing drunks. Heh.

I have never done yoga in public (I embarrass myself enough just trying to work through Inhale in the mornings), but this is too good to pass up.

Now to add yoga clothes to my packing list.

Although I'm just starting yoga again after some time, I would welcome the lovely stretch to begin day two! I guess I'll have to behave on Friday night! :)
Thanks Mollie!
