NonaFelting Norway
by debra roby

Helenes side is a Norwegian crafting blog. The photos will keep me coming back to check out her knitting, but lucky for me, she translates her Norwegian into English!! (because my Norwegian? Not so much.) Scroll to the bottom of any post and there it is.

Late in May, Helene posted examples of her first two tries at nonafelting (felting wool fibers into a silk base). She gives some guidelines and points to another useful tutorial.  The piece in the photo was her second project.  And the advantage of nona felting?  This piece was made on a base, flat.  The only seaming was down the side and adding the gathered cuffs and peblum.  So a great fit with almost no sewing.
