Heard about video blogging a few weeks ago. A great list is a good starting point for exploration. I like lists. The only person I recognize is Amanda.

I would add:
1.Joanne
2. Myself

I emailed John Jurgensen from WSJ. The automated reply contained his cell phone number, and the message: "I'll be out of the office on vacation until Monday, August 7." Interesting! Maybe I'll call him.

My video blog is a face-to-face conversation blog. People say it's a little like Charlie Rose. I got inspired very recently to post it online.

All the best,
Chris Grant

This might really be a country-specific thing - I know of a few bloggers who are "big names" in Malaysia, but whom the rest of the world wouldn't know. And in the WSJ list, I only recognized about 4 of those people.

This would be an interesting project actually! A master list of people who have made great strides through new media.

(And I've just been contacted for an interview on something similar, lol.)

surprising how that list isn't very international (or even racially diverse)...given that it's the Internet you'd think there'd be more diversity there...

"Unknown directors, writers and ... producers are being catapulted into positions of enormous influence. Below, our survey." -- that's the fine print at the top of this page.

Here's my question for you all -- what's your opinion of this list? Would you add talents? Or would you invoke Mena Trott's request from the closing keynote ( http://www.blogher.com/node/8576 ): "Stop making lists!"
